Xiaomi has already started working on the Redmi K50 (Redmi K50) smartphone series. It has recently been reported that a gaming edition will come under this series. Meanwhile, Redmi’s general manager Lu Weibing recently released a teaser for the phone, which will use the undeclared (not yet launched) MediaTek Dimensity 7000 processor.

Earlier, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition was said to have this Dimension 6000 processor, but a popular tipster has made another claim about this phone. That means the phone released in the teaser and the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition – two different models are likely to be seen.

Redmi is bringing MediaTek Dimensity 7000 processor phone

Lu Weibing shared a teaser of a Redmi phone powered by MediaTek Dimension 6000 chipset via the social media platform Weibo, without naming the phone. In that case, since some previous reports have suggested that the Redmi K50 gaming edition has this processor, the two phones may seem to be identical.

But the popular Tipster digital chat station has recently leaked the specifications of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. And looking at the information he shared, it looks like this phone will be powered by the newly released MediaTek Dimension 9000 processor and it will probably come with a 5,000 mAh battery. The phone also features an under-screen fingerprint sensor, a hole-punch display, and a 64-megapixel primary camera module.

The complexity does not end here! Some tipsters claim that the upcoming series of Redmi K50 Gaming Pro Edition phones will have 9000 Dimension processors. Again the standard edition (Redmi K50 Gaming Edition) will probably come with a Dimension 6000 chipset. Speaking of launches, the phones are expected to be released in April next year.
