Samsung’s flagship series Samsung Galaxy S22 is expected to launch early next year. Three smartphones are expected to hit the market under this series – Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22 +, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. A tipster recently claimed that the screen will be removed from these flagship smartphones on February 8.
Before the launch, however, the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22 + phones were spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification site. According to the website, these phones can be seen with foldable LED view cover with NFC connectivity. Again, the connectivity options of the Samsung Galaxy S22 + phone may include Ultra-Wide Band Connectivity in addition to Bluetooth, WiFi.
Two smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series got clearance from FCC
MySmartPrice claims in its report that the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus phones are listed on the FCC website. Although nothing special was known about the two phones from there. Only their connectivity options and battery capacity have been revealed.
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S22 with SM-S901U model number is listed on the FCC site. This phone may have Bluetooth and NFC support with 5G and WiFi 8 connectivity. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus phone has been spotted with the model number SM-S906U. The connectivity options of this phone include WiFi 7, Bluetooth NFC, UWB.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus is said to be powered by a 4,360 mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging support. The FCC site also mentions an LED cover with these two phones. It is learned that this cover can be seen with a foldable design and NFC connectivity. Earlier, it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy S22 will have a 6.08-inch and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus will have a 6.55-inch Full HD Plus display. These phones may be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the company’s own Exynos 2200 processor (varies by country).
Recently, Tipster Ice Universe claimed that the triple camera setup can be seen on the rear panel of both Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22 + phones. The cameras are – 50-megapixel primary sensor with f / 1.6 aperture, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f / 2.2 aperture, and 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3 × optical zooms with f / 2.4 aperture. A 10-megapixel front camera with f / 2.2 aperture will be provided for selfies and video calling in front of the camera.
